“Pennies for Water” Project

Christ Church, along with the Roman Catholic and United churches in Rawdon, has supported a number of projects to provide clean drinking water in communities that lack this basic resource.

Our most recent project was to support the construction of a village well in the community of Mehadan, a village of about 1,000 people, located within the city limits of Mfou, Cameroon. (We worked in conjunction with the Priests of the Sacred Heart, a Roman Catholic religious order working in the Cameroon that has overseen the construction of a number similar wells.)
